This creative piece uses sensory imagery to immerse the reader in a harsh, isolated Australian landscape. Through first-person narration, it explores survival, psychological deterioration, and human instinct. Vivid descriptions of sound, texture, and environment aim to create an unsettling, embodied experience that draws the reader into the protagonist’s physical and emotional reality.

Academic Writing - Research Paper

Workplace stress contributes to burnout among critical care nurses. This paper proposes an eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme for nurses at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Using a quasi-experimental design, outcomes were to be measured via two self report measures (NSS and PQLS5). The intervention was expected to reduce stress and improve wellbeing.

Academic Writing - Research Proposal

Mental illness places a significant burden on healthcare systems, highlighting the need for accessible interventions. This proposal examines the impact of movement-based mindfulness practices on heart rate variability (HRV), a marker of stress resilience. A systematic review will evaluate existing evidence, aiming to determine whether these interventions improve physiological and psychological wellbeing.
